Presentation

The "PURE" wine range from the Pays d’Oc embodies the very essence of winemaking tradition. It reflects the purity of its grape varieties, without excessive intervention or artifice. The DNA of these wines is rooted in their authenticity, preserving the natural integrity of the grapes with no overuse of oak or additives. This minimalist approach highlights the richness and diversity of the terroirs, delivering expressive wines where each grape variety fully reveals its unique characteristics.

Terroir

The grapes of this Grenache come from four meticulously selected areas: the high-altitude grapes from the foothills of the Pyrenees provide richness to the wine; the grapes from Montagne Alaric in the north of Corbières bring roundness and complexity; those from the plain of Aude bring length and structure, while the vineyards halfway up the slopes of the Hérault Valley, influenced by the Mediterranean, promote good grape ripening, giving them warmth and opulence. A subtle blend allows the cuvées from these four terroirs to produce a wine of remarkable balance between richness and freshness.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested at full maturity and the majority of them are completely destemmed. However, a small portion is transferred whole into the vats to preserve the freshness of the harvest.

Ageing

The wine is then aged for 7 to 9 months, partly in oak barrels and partly in tanks to preserve the fruity notes.

Tasting

With a vivid purple color, Grenache has an intense nose evoking red fruits (raspberry) and notes of sweet spices (cardamom). Very rich and well-balanced on the palate, this wine is round and full of fruity flavors (raspberry, strawberry, blueberry). Hints of spices (fresh pepper) bring a pleasant freshness to the tasting.

Food pairings

Serve at 17-18°C, this Grenache pairs well with terrines, Mediterranean dishes, grilled meats (lamb), or in sauce. It can also be enjoyed with a red fruit dessert.
