DVP - Côte de Beaune
Located in the southern part of Burgundy’s Côte d'Or, the Côte de Beaune spans approximately 4,500 hectares and is famed for its outstanding white and red wines. The main grape varieties are Chardonnay for whites and Pinot Noir for reds. Annual production is around 25 million bottles, divided into 60% reds and 40% whites. Villages like Meursault, Pommard, and Chassagne-Montrachet exemplify the excellence of this region’s limestone and marl soils.
