Domaine De La Perdrane
Domaine de la Perdrane, nestled between the Cévennes and the Mediterranean, benefits from an exceptional terroir where maritime and mountainous influences combine to give birth to wines of great freshness. It takes its name from the small medieval town of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, a jewel classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site and an emblematic stop on the Camino de Santiago. The vineyard extends over clay-limestone and schist soils, conducive to the expression of emblematic Languedoc grape varieties, such as Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Vermentino. Viticulture is conducted in a reasoned struggle, with thorough soil work and particular attention to biodiversity. Vinifications favor gentle extraction and long fermentations to preserve balance and fruit purity. This estate stands out for its attachment to the terroir and its desire to produce authentic, vibrant wines marked by the history of their region.
