Domaine Frantz Chagnoleau
Based in the Mâconnais, Domaine Frantz Chagnoleau has established itself as one of the notable names in southern Burgundy. Founded with its first vintage in 2010, the estate is run by Frantz Chagnoleau and Caroline Gon and spans approximately 7 hectares. Focusing on several emblematic appellations, their ambition is clear: to craft precise, vibrant white wines deeply rooted in their terroir.
The vineyards are organically farmed, with careful soil management and a low-intervention philosophy. In the cellar, fermentations are carried out with indigenous yeasts, while ageing combines oak barrels and stainless steel, with a restrained use of oak to preserve fruit purity and the wines’ natural tension.
The wines stand out for their energy, refined texture and remarkable mineral precision. Pure and elegant Chardonnays offering a contemporary expression of the great limestone terroirs of the Mâconnais.
