Domaine Du Gueret

Domaine Du Gueret

Located in the heart of the Moulin-à-Vent cru, Domaine du Guéret showcases the full nobility of this emblematic Beaujolais terroir. The vineyards are rooted in soils derived from pink granite, naturally poor and well-draining, which encourage low yields and excellent grape concentration.

This distinctive terroir, rich in iron oxides and manganese, gives the wines remarkable depth, structure and a subtle spicy signature. Here, Gamay takes on a more powerful and refined dimension, producing wines with both intensity and strong ageing potential.

Owned by the Favre family and now managed by Catherine Delaunay-Favre and her sisters, the estate follows a thoughtful and respectful approach. Vineyard practices include sustainable farming, manual harvesting and careful selection, while winemaking focuses on preserving both fruit purity and terroir expression. The wines of Domaine du Guéret stand out for their intensity, fine tannins and long finish, offering a style that is both authentic and contemporary.
