Domaine Maurice Lapalus Et Fils
Based in Pierreclos, in the southern Mâconnais, Domaine Maurice Lapalus et Fils is rooted in a family history dating back to 1937. Initially a mixed farm, the estate took a decisive turn toward viticulture under Maurice Lapalus, becoming fully dedicated to the vine from 1976. The acquisition in 1986 of parcels from the Château de Pierreclos vineyard further strengthened its identity and enriched its vineyard holdings.
Today, the estate spans 17 hectares, producing Mâcon-Pierreclos, Pouilly-Fuissé and Crémant de Bourgogne. What sets it apart is its steady and coherent evolution: a gradual modernization of facilities led by Christophe Lapalus since 2000, carried out without breaking from its family roots or local heritage.
Certified HVE since 2015, the domaine combines careful vineyard management, including cover cropping, with precise cellar techniques. It thus expresses a discreet yet confident identity, built on consistency, balance and an authentic interpretation of the terroirs of Pierreclos.
