Domaine Des Grands Rocs

Domaine des Grands Rocs is located in Saint-Lager, at the heart of the Beaujolais crus. Formerly known as Domaine de la Motte, the estate entered a new phase in 2018 with the arrival of Éric Sorais and his partners. Today, the vineyard spans 34 hectares across well-regarded terroirs, where Gamay expresses itself with purity, generosity and elegance.

The vines, with an average age of 45 to 50 years, benefit from favourable exposures and a diverse range of soils, including sandy and clay-based formations on well-drained slopes. This vine maturity naturally brings concentration, depth and consistency to the wines. The estate produces cuvées that are precise, expressive and true to their origin.

Managed under sustainable practices, the vineyard is carefully maintained with natural grass cover and a strong respect for environmental balance. The wines of Domaine des Grands Rocs stand out for their balance, purity of fruit and refined texture. They offer a modern and polished interpretation of Beaujolais, combining freshness, generosity and elegance.
