Domaine Jubare
Domaine Jubare
Based in Fuissé, in the heart of the Mâconnais, Domaine JUBARE is dedicated to the region’s emblematic white grape variety: Chardonnay. The vineyard, covering nearly 6 hectares, extends across the full range of the commune’s terroirs, offering a remarkable diversity of exposures and slopes, from 0 to 40%.
This geological richness enables the estate to craft a range that truly reflects the identity of southern Burgundy, where each cuvée precisely expresses the nuances of its origin. Three emblematic appellations structure the production: Mâcon-Fuissé, Pouilly-Fuissé and Pouilly-Fuissé Premier Cru. A parcel-based approach is central to the philosophy, with each wine originating from a clearly defined site and soil, in a constant pursuit of balance between freshness, depth and minerality.
Though modest in size, Domaine JUBARE embodies an ambitious and rigorous vision of winemaking, grounded in authenticity, respect for the living environment and a measured approach to vinification. With no artifice, its wines elegantly reveal the full potential of Chardonnay on these clay-limestone slopes, within a landscape shaped by vineyards for centuries.
