Domaine Des Coeuriots
At the foot of the Vézelay hill, Domaine des Coeuriots reflects a family-driven and deeply committed approach to Burgundy winemaking. Established in 2012 by Yoann Defert, following in the footsteps of his parents who planted the first vines in the 1990s, the estate now covers 9.2 hectares of organically certified Chardonnay and Pinot Noir since 2021.
In 2022, Marie Giraud joined Yoann, and together they now guide the estate with a shared vision rooted in continuity and respect for the land. The clay-limestone and flint soils, carefully tended, yield pure and vibrant white wines, vinified in stainless steel to preserve their freshness and mineral clarity.
The name “Coeuriots” pays tribute to tiny heart-shaped fossils found in the vineyard— a poetic nod to the richness of the soil and the family's enduring bond with their land.
