Champagne Lacuisse Freres

Located in Sermiers, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims on Premier Cru slopes, Champagne Lacuisse Frères is a family-run estate founded in 1960 by Julien Lacuisse and his sons. Today, the vineyard spans 17 hectares around the village, on an atypical terroir of marl, clay, and siliceous sand that lends finesse and minerality to the wines.

The vineyard, cultivated using sustainable practices and certified HVE and VDC, is predominantly planted with Pinot Meunier—the estate’s signature grape—alongside Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Harvesting is done entirely by hand to ensure optimal grape selection at full maturity.

In the cellar, vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatic freshness, followed by extended aging on lees. Some cuvées are crafted without added sulfites at disgorgement, offering a purer expression of the wine. The estate’s champagnes stand out for their precision, balance, and refined expression of their unique terroir.
