In the heart of Les Aspres, in Saint-Jean-Lasseille, Château Planères is above all a story of family heritage and transmission. Across 50 hectares of vineyards, the Jaubert-Noury family has proudly maintained its identity as Catalan farmers for generations, viewing the vineyard both as a profession and as a living heritage to be passed on.

Each generation has helped shape the estate. Earlier generations planted the old bush vines and defined the Planères terroir, while Francis Jaubert played a role in the recognition of Côtes du Roussillon as an AOC. More recently, Gilles Jaubert contributed to the emergence of the Les Aspres cru, continuing the family’s pursuit of quality and identity.

Faithful to the Catalan motto “Sempre endavant mai morirem”, Château Planères continues to move forward without losing sight of its roots. Its wines offer a generous and elegant expression of Roussillon, combining fruit, freshness and Mediterranean character.
