Christophe Cordier

Christophe Cordier

Based in Fuissé, in the heart of the Mâconnais, Domaine Christophe Cordier stands among the most exacting signatures of southern Burgundy. Founded in 1945 and now led by Christophe Cordier, the estate has built its reputation on a resolutely quality-driven vision, focused on the most precise expression of terroir. Its vineyard, spanning around 30 hectares and planted exclusively with Chardonnay, covers renowned appellations such as Pouilly-Fuissé, Pouilly-Fuissé Premier Cru, Saint-Véran, Viré-Clessé and Pouilly-Loché.

What truly sets the domaine apart is its remarkably precise parcel-based approach. Each plot is treated as a distinct entity, with exacting standards applied both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Vinifications are carried out with rigor and attention to detail, aiming to reveal the singularity of each terroir without artifice, in a subtle balance between ripeness, tension and energy.

In contrast to more demonstrative styles, the wines of Domaine Christophe Cordier are defined by their controlled depth, finely structured profile and impressive ageing potential. Driven by a constant pursuit of excellence, they offer a precise and ambitious interpretation of Chardonnay in the Mâconnais, establishing a distinctive identity within the Burgundy landscape.
