Le Quartier de Ménilmontant
In the 18th century Ménilmontant was a village on the outskirts of Paris where the Parisians liked to stroll and taste wine. In 1860, the village was annexed by the Baron Haussmann during the major remodeling project of Paris. It is today a popular and lively area with many bistrots.
