Famille Desmeure
The Desmeure family represents a strong legacy in the northern Rhône Valley through Domaine des Remizières, located in Mercurol-Veaunes at the heart of Crozes-Hermitage. Over several generations, they have developed a vineyard now covering around 38 hectares, spread across Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph and Hermitage.
The estate took a decisive step forward in 1973 when the family began vinifying its own production. Philippe Desmeure then expanded the domaine, later joined by his children Émilie and Christophe, further strengthening its family identity. This continuity brings consistency and a precise expression of each terroir.
The wines reflect a focused, generous and carefully crafted vision of the northern Rhône. The domaine is known for structured, precise wines that remain true to their origin, supported by genuine independent winegrower expertise and a commitment to quality, notably through HVE certification.
