Domaine De Gry Sablon
Domaine de Gry-Sablon is a family estate located in Émeringes, at the heart of Beaujolais. Managed by Christine and Dominique Morel, the estate covers 18 hectares and produces a wide range of 12 appellations, from Beaujolais-Villages to several renowned crus. This diversity allows the domaine to offer a precise and nuanced expression of the region’s terroirs.
The vineyards, mainly planted on granite soils, benefit from ideal conditions for the expression of Gamay. The estate follows a sustainable approach, with careful attention paid to the natural balance of each parcel. Harvesting is carried out by hand, with rigorous sorting to ensure optimal grape quality. In the cellar, vinification is conducted with whole clusters or partial destemming depending on the cuvées, with ageing in tanks or oak barrels to bring structure and complexity without masking the fruit.
