Founded in 1443 by Chancellor Nicolas Rolin and his wife Guigone de Salins, the Hospices de Beaune is one of Burgundy's most prestigious wine institutions. Today, its estate spans 60 hectares across some of the finest vineyards of the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. The vineyard encompasses an exceptional mosaic of Premier Cru and Grand Cru appellations, predominantly planted with Pinot Noir, alongside a significant proportion of Chardonnay dedicated to Burgundy's great white wines.

The vineyards are cultivated with the utmost respect for their terroirs under certified organic farming practices. Each year, the wines are offered at the world-renowned Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction, held on the third Sunday of November. This prestigious charity auction has become an international benchmark, supporting the hospital's charitable mission while showcasing the excellence of Burgundy's finest wines.
