Located in Armissan, between Narbonne, the Massif de la Clape and the Mediterranean Sea, Domaine Sarrat de Goundy enjoys a sun-drenched environment shaped by cooling sea winds. Founded in 1966 by Claude Calix, the estate is now managed by his son Olivier Calix, who continues the story of this 50-hectare family property.

The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils and benefit from a maritime climate that encourages slow, balanced ripening. This influence brings freshness and finesse to the wines, while Grenache, Syrah and Carignan fully express their Mediterranean character.

The estate stands out for its gravity-flow approach, limiting handling to preserve the integrity of the fruit. Vinification in concrete tanks maintains aromatic purity, while ageing in oak barrels and amphorae brings complexity and finesse. The wines combine black fruit, garrigue and spice in a generous, precise and contemporary style.
