Domaine Fornerot Jerome
In Saint-Aubin, Jérôme Fornerot has developed a precise and thoughtful vision of Chardonnay. Before founding his own estate, he spent several years working at the Domaine Marc Colin et Fils, one of the historic references of the appellation. This experience deeply shaped his understanding of the village’s terroirs.
In the early 2000s, he decided to follow his own path and created Domaine Jérôme Fornerot. His vineyards, mainly located around Saint-Aubin, benefit from limestone slopes and cooler exposures that give the wines remarkable freshness and precision.
Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, the approach remains measured and respectful: manual harvesting, limited intervention and carefully balanced ageing to let the terroir speak. The result is bright, finely chiseled whites, combining tension, purity and mineral energy, a discreet but highly appreciated signature among Burgundy lovers.
