Domaine de la Jacarde

Located in Chaintré, in the southern part of the Mâconnais, Domaine de la Jacarde is rooted in a long-standing family history, with the Mathias family cultivating vines since 1894. Today, the estate covers around 12 hectares, with a production entirely vinified and bottled on site, reflecting a direct and consistent approach to winemaking.

The range focuses on key appellations of the area, notably Pouilly-Fuissé, Pouilly-Vinzelles and Mâcon-Chaintré. This positioning gives the domaine a clear identity, centered on the great white wines of southern Burgundy, with an approach that favors consistency and a faithful expression of terroir over stylistic demonstration.

What truly distinguishes Domaine de la Jacarde is the combination of its long family continuity, its relatively contained scale, and its commitment to organic farming, with certification dating back to 2010. The result is a range of wines that reflect both precision and sincerity, offering a direct and authentic expression of each vintage and origin.
