Domaine De La Croix Dauphin
Domaine De la Croix Dauphin is located in Marey-lès-Fussey, between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune, in the heart of the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. Passed down through more than five generations, the family-run estate now cultivates 30 hectares across Bourgogne Aligoté, Hautes Côtes de Nuits, and Hautes Côtes de Beaune. The vines thrive on well-exposed clay-limestone slopes, under a cool climate with marked day-night temperature variation.
Rooted in a respectful, low-intervention approach, the domaine favors careful soil management, hand-harvesting, and gentle, vintage-driven vinification. The wines are aged for around 12 months, in vats or oak barrels depending on the cuvée.
The estate takes its name from an old stone cross standing among the vines, a discreet memorial that has become a symbolic and emotional landmark for the family. Crafted with precision and care, the wines offer a sincere expression of the terroir, combining aromatic purity, balance, and refined elegance on the palate.
