Chateau Blaceret Roy
Chateau Blaceret Roy
Located in the heart of Beaujolais, Château Blaceret Roy is a historic estate that elegantly balances tradition, precision and modernity. Its vineyards are rooted in the region’s typical granite soils, which are particularly well suited to expressing Gamay, the emblematic grape variety of Beaujolais. This strong terroir identity gives rise to wines that are authentic, refined and deeply true to their origin.
The vineyard is managed with a sustainable approach, with careful soil work and limited use of chemical inputs to preserve the natural balance of the vines. Close attention is paid to each parcel to ensure even ripening. Harvesting is carried out by hand, allowing for a meticulous selection of grapes and ensuring consistent quality from one vintage to the next.
In the cellar, the estate follows traditional Beaujolais winemaking methods, notably semi-carbonic maceration, which enhances the fruit purity, suppleness and charm of Gamay. Some cuvées are aged in oak barrels, adding structure and complexity. The wines of Château Blaceret Roy stand out for their freshness, aromatic precision and expressive notes of red fruits, spices and delicate floral nuances.
