Located in Chassagne-Montrachet, Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard is a family estate that has become one of the leading references of the Côte de Beaune. Founded in 1985, the domaine covers around 12 hectares, mainly in Chassagne-Montrachet, with a few parcels in Volnay and Pommard.
The Fontaine family works the vineyards with great care, following a sustainable and reasoned approach and limiting interventions in order to preserve the integrity of the terroir. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand, while vinifications are conducted with precision, favoring indigenous yeast fermentations and ageing on lees in oak barrels.
