The Domaine Alain Michelot is a historic family estate located in Nuits Saint Georges, passed down through generations since the 19th century. Now run by Alain Michelot, the domaine remains faithful to traditional Burgundian values, built on patience, precision and an intimate understanding of terroir.
The vineyard covers approximately 8 hectares, mainly spread across some of the finest climats of Nuits Saint Georges, as well as Vosne Romanée and Chambolle Musigny. Vineyard work is carried out using reasoned and meticulous practices, favoring manual labor and respect for soil balance.

Yields are carefully controlled to preserve fruit concentration and purity. One distinctive feature of the estate is Alain Michelot’s commitment to long and patient ageing, often extended beyond the norm, allowing the wines to naturally reach harmony.
