Domaine Roger Belland
Domaine Roger Belland
Located in Santenay, in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Roger Belland is a historic family estate whose origins date back to the 19th century. Today led by Julie Belland, the domaine continues this long winemaking tradition while bringing a modern perspective to the region’s great terroirs.
The vineyard covers around 24 hectares, spread across several prestigious appellations including Santenay, Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault and Volnay. This diversity of parcels allows the estate to explore different expressions of both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The domaine stands out for its significant holdings in Premier Cru vineyards, particularly in Santenay and Chassagne-Montrachet. In both vineyard and cellar, the work combines precision and tradition, with manual harvesting, careful vinifications and well-balanced oak ageing.
The wines are known for their structure, finesse and balance, faithfully expressing the diversity of the Côte de Beaune’s terroirs.
