Domaine Dubreuil Fontaine
Domaine Dubreuil Fontaine
Located in Pernand-Vergelesses, at the foot of the Corton hill, Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine is a historic family estate in the Côte de Beaune. For several generations, the family has cultivated vineyards across some of Burgundy’s most renowned villages, including Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Beaune, Pommard and Volnay.
A defining moment in the estate’s history came in the 1970s, when the family decided to bottle their wines at the estate, whereas they had previously sold them in barrel to the Beaune négociants. This decision marked the beginning of the domaine’s own identity.
Today the vineyard covers 22 appellations, ranging from regional Bourgogne wines to prestigious Corton Grands Crus. Vineyard work follows a careful and sustainable approach, with controlled yields, regular soil work and manual harvesting with strict sorting.
In the cellar, vinifications are precise and respectful of each vintage, with well-judged oak ageing. The wines are known for their elegance and clear expression of terroir: refined and expressive Pinot Noir alongside precise, mineral-driven Chardonnay.
