Domaine De La Roche Aigue

Domaine De La Roche Aigue

Located in Auxey-Duresses, at the entrance of the valley leading to Saint-Romain, Domaine de la Roche Aiguë farms around 13 hectares of vineyards spread across Auxey-Duresses, Meursault, Saint-Romain and Pommard.

Founded in the early 1990s by Florence and Éric Guillemard, the estate was built around a simple ambition: to highlight the often underestimated potential of Auxey-Duresses and its surrounding terroirs. The name “Roche Aiguë” refers to the sharp limestone cliffs overlooking the valley, which strongly influence the mineral character of the wines.

Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, the philosophy remains straightforward and respectful of the fruit. Relatively short oak ageing is favored in order to preserve freshness and purity.
