Domaine Valand

This family estate of 22 hectares, located in the heart of the southern Rhône Valley, has adopted organic farming certified by Ecocert since 2010. The vines, rooted in clay-limestone soils and rolled pebbles, produce generous reds based on Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. The vinification relies on long macerations, followed by aging in demi-muids and amphoras, allowing the fruit to be sublimated without masking the minerality. The wines of Domaine Valand are characterized by a beautiful aromatic richness, velvety tannins, and a spicy finish, typical of the great cuvées of the region. The estate stands out for its precise work in biodynamics, including plant infusions and gentle plowing to maximize the expression of the terroir.
