Nestled in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation, Clos du Lucquier is a family-owned estate located in Jonquières, in the Hérault region of southern France. Founded by Nicole and Claude Panis, and now managed alongside their sons, the estate covers 15 hectares of clay-limestone terroirs ideally suited to the production of great Languedoc wines.

The vineyard is managed with particular attention to preserving the natural balance of the soils and encouraging biodiversity. The estate cultivates emblematic southern grape varieties including Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault.

Vinification is carried out with precision and care, featuring spontaneous fermentations in concrete tanks to achieve gentle extraction and preserve aromatic purity. The wines are then aged in French oak barrels for 14 to 16 months, resulting in refined, complex and silky textures.

The estate’s identity lies in its artisanal philosophy and deep respect for the natural rhythm of the vine. Benefiting from the significant day-to-night temperature variations of the Terrasses du Larzac, the wines retain remarkable freshness while developing an intense aromatic profile marked by black fruits, garrigue and Mediterranean spices.
