Famille Trouillet Lebeau
The Domaine Trouillet Lebeau, located in Solutré-Pouilly, south of Burgundy, was established at the beginning of the 20th century. Today, it is managed by Marie-Agnès Trouillet and her son William, representing the fifth generation.
With 19.5 hectares in sustainable agriculture, the estate covers almost all the major appellations of the Mâconnais: Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Mâcon-Solutré, and Viré-Clessé. The vine is carefully maintained, with plowing and natural grassing, favoring biodiversity and microbial life in the soils. In the cellar, fermentations are exclusively done with indigenous yeasts and aging is carried out on fine lees in tanks or barrels, depending on the potential of each cuvée.
The wines, dominated by Chardonnay, display beautiful aromatic richness, blending white fruits, floral notes, and mineral touches, in a full and persistent palate. The singularity of the estate: a constant search for balance between structure and tension, expressing the authenticity of Burgundian Chardonnay.
