Domaine Des Terres Dorées
Located in Charnay, at the heart of the famous “Golden Stones” area in southern Beaujolais, Domaine des Terres Dorées was founded in 1979 by Jean-Paul Brun. Starting with just 4 hectares, the estate now covers nearly 60 hectares across some of the region’s finest terroirs.
The vineyard is mainly planted with Gamay and Chardonnay, complemented by small parcels of Pinot Noir and Roussanne. The estate produces a wide range of appellations, from characterful Beaujolais wines to renowned crus such as Fleurie, Morgon, Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly and Moulin-à-Vent.
A visionary and demanding winemaker, Jean-Paul Brun has always been committed to expressing the true identity of his terroirs. He favors Burgundy-inspired winemaking, using indigenous yeasts, minimal intervention in the cellar, and environmentally respectful vineyard practices.
Celebrated for their freshness, vibrant fruit expression and balance, the wines of Domaine des Terres Dorées offer a sincere and elegant interpretation of Beaujolais, while also demonstrating excellent ageing potential.
