Rooted in Nuits-Saint-Georges since 1887, Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux is a family estate passed down through five generations. Its 9-hectare vineyard, spread across some of the Côte de Nuits' finest climats, is cultivated with meticulous care and deep respect for the terroir.The vines are cultivated using sustainable methods, with meticulous soil work that promotes optimal ripening of Pinot Noir. Vinification follows traditional methods, with open-top fermentations and extended ageing in French oak barrels, bringing aromatic complexity and remarkable depth to the wines.
True to this spirit of precision, the estate is one of the few in Nuits-Saint-Georges to vinify separately two cuvées from the prestigious “Les Saint-Georges” climat: a classic version, and a “Vieilles Vignes” cuvée made from parcels over 70 years old. This rare approach highlights the richness of this iconic terroir and reflects the domaine’s dedication to expressing the finest nuances of each vineyard.
The wines capture the true character of Nuits-Saint-Georges: fine structure, silky tannins, and aromas of black fruit, licorice, and forest floor. With excellent aging potential, they stand among the benchmark producers of the Côte de Nuits.
