Domaine La Menoize
Located in Meloisey, a historic wine village in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, Domaine La Menoize has a long family history spanning several generations. Tradition even holds that wines from Meloisey were served at the coronation of King Philip Augustus in 1180, highlighting the ancient winemaking heritage of the area.
Until 1948, the estate belonged to the Thevenot family before being taken over by Pierre Mazilly, who significantly developed the vineyard. Today, the domaine is run by Aymeric Mazilly, trained at the Beaune wine school, who has managed the estate since 2019.
The vineyard now covers 19 hectares across several renowned Burgundy appellations. In 2004, Aymeric Mazilly also founded Maison Aymeric Mazilly, dedicated to crafting great white wines from the Côte de Beaune. The estate produces elegant and expressive wines, faithful to the identity of Burgundy’s great terroirs.
