DVP - Beaujolais
Located south of Burgundy, the Beaujolais vineyard stretches over 16,000 hectares. Gamay is the dominant grape variety, complemented by Chardonnay for rare whites. Annual production is around 100 million bottles, comprising 95% reds and 5% whites and rosés. Its granitic soils and semi-continental climate define the character of its wines, with notable crus like Morgon and Fleurie.
