A family property since 1938, Domaine Xavier & Guillemette Besson is located in Givry, in Côte Chalonnaise, in a fortified house dating from the Middle Ages. This historic property houses a vaulted cellar classified as a historical monument, which hosts concerts of the Les Musicaves festival every summer.

Since 1989, Xavier and Guillemette Besson have run the estate, focusing on estate bottling to preserve the identity of their wines. Across 9 hectares, they produce Givry and Beaune Premier Cru wines, with a reasoned approach in the vineyard and low-intervention winemaking to maintain the purity of each vintage.

The reds, mainly from Pinot Noir, seduce with their bright fruit, elegant tannins, and beautiful structure. The whites, on the other hand, offer immediate freshness and great aromatic precision. An estate at the crossroads of tradition and innovation, showcasing the richness of Givry.
