Domaine Fonsalade

In the heart of the Languedoc, in Causses-et-Veyran on the heights of Saint-Chinian, Domaine Fonsalade embodies an elegant and contemporary vision of its terroir. Rooted in a long history, with records of wines marketed under this name as early as 1839, the estate has gained renewed momentum since its acquisition by the Barbe family in 2014.

Across 32 hectares, the vineyards thrive on a mosaic of schist, clay-limestone, gypsum marl and rolled pebbles, imparting richness, freshness and complexity to the wines. The Saint-Chinian and Roquebrun appellations reflect this diversity through cuvées such as Château Fonsalade, F, Felix Culpa and Petit Bonheur.

Fonsalade stands out for its characterful wines, both generous, precise and refined, faithfully expressing the identity of this elevated terroir. The estate combines the authenticity of the Languedoc with a true commitment to quality, crafting wines that are approachable yet layered with depth. A distinctive signature, as compelling for its sense of place as for its elegance.
