Domaine Dugat-Py

In Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Dugat-Py has become one of the most distinctive signatures of the Côte de Nuits. Under the leadership of Bernard Dugat, the family estate has developed a strong identity built on a constant pursuit of depth, concentration and intensity.

The vineyard covers around 10 hectares, spread across some of the most prestigious terroirs of Gevrey-Chambertin, including several Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites such as Mazis-Chambertin, Charmes-Chambertin and Mazoyères-Chambertin.

What truly sets the domaine apart is its exceptional heritage of very old vines, some of which are 80 to 100 years old. These ancient vines naturally produce low yields but deliver grapes of remarkable concentration, forming the backbone of the Dugat-Py style.

In the cellar, ageing is long and meticulous, often carried out in oak barrels with a significant proportion of new oak, carefully supporting the natural power of the wines.
The result is a range of wines that are dense, profound and impressively structured, combining intensity with precision. These are wines of character, built for ageing, that powerfully express the greatness of the terroirs of Gevrey-Chambertin.
