Domaine Tupinier Bautista

Domaine Tupinier Bautista

In Mercurey, Domaine Tupinier-Bautista stands out as a leading signature of the Côte Chalonnaise, driven by Manu Bautista, who took over the estate in 1997 and brought a renewed energy. Of Spanish origin, he has shaped a distinctive style that blends Burgundian precision with a warmer, more Mediterranean sensibility.

The vineyard, covering around 11 hectares, is farmed with meticulous care: manual harvesting, strict sorting and gravity-fed vinifications, combined with ageing in natural cellars carved into the rock.

The wines strike a balance between depth and finesse, offering reds that are structured, silky and expressive. They also reflect a true meeting of two cultures, where Burgundian rigor and precision intertwine with Mediterranean generosity and warmth, resulting in wines that are both precise and uniquely expressive.
