Terroir

The grapes come from the best Champagne vineyards, mainly from the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs, on soils rich in chalk and limestone. These exceptional terroirs give the wine a vibrant minerality, a rare aromatic purity, and a typically Champagne elegance. The geological richness and diversity of the soils bring finesse and complexity, allowing the rosé champagne to display a refined, fresh, and intense profile.

Harvest

Developed according to traditional Champagne methods, the cuvée is based on a rigorous selection of grapes from manual harvests.

Ageing

After a careful first fermentation, the wine is bottled for the second fermentation, followed by aging on lees for about 5 years in the Deutz cellars. This long aging gives this cuvée a fine mousse, a velvety texture, and a remarkable aromatic complexity.

Varietals

Tasting

Deutz Rosé Love reveals a pale pink robe with bright coppery reflections. The nose, complex and delicate, combines aromas of fresh red berries - raspberry, redcurrant, wild strawberry - with subtle notes of rose and white pepper. On the palate, the wine is intense and elegant, with a fresh attack, a silky texture, and a long finish marked by a fine and persistent minerality. A refined rosé, both vibrant and sophisticated. As of today, this cuvée offers vibrant freshness and aromatic elegance. It can be stored in the cellar for up to 8 to 10 years, during which it will develop more complex notes of candied red fruits, sweet spices, and fine pastry, while retaining its finesse and liveliness.

Food pairings

This champagne fully expresses itself on accords that are both fresh, spicy, and gourmet. It enhances a Thai fish curry, where the richness of coconut milk and the freshness of herbs interact with its minerality and liveliness. Grilled prawn skewers, enhanced with a lemon sauce, reveal all its roundness and elegance. For dessert, let yourself be tempted by an opera, whose chocolaty complexity and creamy texture subtly extend the champagne's finish.
