Presentation
Syrah is a late-ripener and a rather vigorous grape variety. When handled well, it produces the silkiest of wines, with a remarkable finesse of tannins and intensity of color and aromas. Syrah prefers climates with cool nights and fully sunny days.
Winemaking
The winemaking process starts with cold maceration on the skins, prior to fermentation. The time in vinification tanks is kept short as the focus is the purity of the fruit.
Ageing
Our Syrah is aged in vats for 4 to 6 months before it is prepared for bottling.
