Domaine Loïc et Noël Bulliat
Domaine Loïc et Noël Bulliat
Founded in 1978 by Noël Bulliat, the estate is now run alongside his son Loïc, in a true spirit of family continuity. Starting from just 4 hectares in Beaujolais-Villages, the vineyard has gradually expanded to 28 hectares, spread across eight appellations, including five Beaujolais crus.
A defining anecdote reflects the estate’s journey: Noël Bulliat established the domaine shortly after completing his viticultural training, building it step by step from a small base. The arrival of Loïc in 2005 marked a new chapter, bringing a more contemporary vision of Gamay and a stronger focus on environmental practices.
Since 2010, the estate has followed a sustainable approach, with part of the vineyard farmed organically and the rest under reasoned viticulture. In the cellar, traditional semi-carbonic fermentation preserves the fruit’s vibrancy, while ageing in tanks or oak barrels adds structure and depth depending on the cuvées. The wines are defined by their freshness, balance and expressive fruit, offering a clear and authentic reflection of Beaujolais terroirs.
