In Burgundy, a murger refers to stone piles cleared from the soil and placed at the edge of plots, typically where the soil is thin indicative of a terroir with strong typicity. "Clos du Murger" is a registered trademark with the French Intellectual Property Institute. Entirely enclosed by walls over 2 meters high, this vineyard lent its name to the adjacent village square.

Winemaking

Tasting
This Meursault shows a brilliant, limpid golden color. The bouquet reveals ripe, sun-filled Chardonnay influenced by its terroir: hawthorn, apricot, lemon, and exotic fruits like mango and papaya. On the palate, it is full-bodied, structured, and long, with a silky texture and flavors of fresh hazelnut and honey, culminating in an original finish on mirabelle plum.
