Laurent Chardigny is a passionate and respected winegrower, established in Azé in the Mâconnais region since 2008. Thanks to his many years of experience, he has developed a unique know-how that enables him to produce quality wines reflecting the authenticity and richness of his terroir. Clay-limestone soil.
In the vineyard
Planting density 7500 feet/ha. Grass between rows. Single Guyot pruning and arcure bending.
Harvest
Machine that allows the sorting and destemming of grapes.
Winemaking
Pre-fermentation cold maceration followed by maceration/fermentation for about ten days with daily pump-overs.
Ageing
Breeding in stainless steel tank for a few months.

Tasting
Originating from Mâconnais, this Pinot Noir displays a bright ruby robe. The nose reveals aromas of red and black fruits like strawberry, cherry, and blueberry, evolving into hints of cooked prunes and peppery nuances. On the palate, the wine is very lively, bringing freshness, with a supple structure and fine tannins, offering a beautiful expression of the Pinot Noir grape variety.

This Burgundy Pinot Noir harmoniously pairs with a variety of dishes. It will perfectly complement roasted poultry, grilled or sautéed fish, as well as sautéed vegetables. Its freshness and finesse also make it an excellent choice for vegetarian dishes or soft cheeses.
