Presentation
Located in Côte de Nuits, Domaine Denis Fouquerand embodies Burgundian excellence through precise and expressive wines. Its vineyard rests on limestone and clay soils, offering perfect conditions for Pinot Noir. The estate's cultural practices favor an integrated approach, limiting interventions to preserve the natural balance of the vines. Vinifications are gentle, and aging in barrels is well-controlled, allowing for elegant reds with aromas of cherry, violet, and spices. A discreet but essential estate for discovering the finesse of great Côte de Nuits wines.

Tasting
This Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune blanc from Domaine Denis Fouquerand reveals all the freshness and honesty of Chardonnay grown at higher altitude. Its pale gold robe with silvery reflections announces a luminous, precise wine. The expressive, delicate nose opens with aromas of white flowers, ripe lemon, and fresh pear, complemented by a chalky mineral touch. On the palate, the attack is lively and balanced, with fine, chiselled texture carried by a vibrant acidity. The finish is clean, saline, and refreshing, highlighting the wine’s aromatic purity—perfect to enjoy young and energetic.
Food pairings
With its fresh and tense profile, this Hautes Côtes de Beaune blanc pairs beautifully with fine de claire oysters, sea bass ceviche, or scallop carpaccio. It also accompanies roast chicken with lemon or asparagus risotto, where its liveliness enhances the delicacy of the dishes. More simply, it makes an excellent aperitif wine, served alongside a platter of fresh goat cheeses or grilled vegetable antipasti.
