Terroir
The grapes come from clay-limestone soils, allowing the freshness of the clay associated with the filtering properties of the limestone to be found in this wine. The climate is dry and sunny, this is perfect for the delicate Pinot Noir.
Winemaking
Vinification starts with 2 days of prefermentation cold maceration followed by a two week maceration period. Ageing lasts about 6 months with French oak and bottling is done early in order to capture the grape’s primary flavors.
