Presentation
Founded in 1975 by Chantal Lescure and Xavier Machard de Gramont, Domaine Chantal Lescure is a family-owned estate that today cultivates 19 hectares of vineyards, stretching from the slopes of Dijon in the north down to Meursault in the south.
In 1996, following the sad passing of Chantal Lescure, her children took over the estate. Aymeric and Thibault Machard de Gramont joined forces and entrusted the technical direction to François Chaveriat. This marked a radical rethink of previous practices and the beginning of a vast transformation.
From 1997 onwards, the decision was made to abandon chemical treatments so that the soils could come back to life and the grapes fully express the quality of their terroirs. The vineyard has since been entirely cultivated under organic farming, officially certified since 2006.
At the same time, the distribution network was restructured and rebuilt. Today, the reputation of Domaine Chantal Lescure is firmly established.

Clay-sandy soils.
In the vineyard
Key vineyard practices include careful soil management, sustainable cultivation methods, yield control, and manual harvesting to ensure optimal grape quality and full terroir expression.
Harvest
Harvesting is carried out manually. Grapes are sorted, not destemmed, not crushed, and pressed using a pneumatic press.
Winemaking
Pressing is long (2 to 2.5 hours) at low pressure, followed by static settling for 12 hours. A light sulfiting is carried out. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels, 20% of which are new, without any bâtonnage.
Ageing
Racking is done after 14 months, followed by ageing in vats for 2 to 3 months. Bottling takes place without filtration.

Tasting
On the nose, the wine develops highly appealing notes of citrus (bergamot, grapefruit) and intriguing stony aromas. It perfectly reflects its terroir with finesse and minerality. After a few minutes of aeration, delicate white flower notes appear, offering a charming introduction. On the palate, it is fine, precise, and vibrant. Ripe fruit notes combine beautifully with the distinctive minerality of this terroir. A remarkably well-judged oak character completes the palate and lends exceptional length to this outstanding Meursault.
