Presentation

At the foot of Mont Ventoux, Château Juvenal is a remarkable family estate that cultivates vines on clay-limestone soils under organic farming. Here, Syrah, Grenache, and Viognier thrive in ideal conditions, producing wines of great purity and balance. Grapes are harvested by hand, preserving integrity and concentration. In the winery, vinification is gentle and precise to reveal the terroir’s full potential. The reds are elegant and deep, with rich black fruit and spice notes. Tasting

Perséides Blanc stands out with its brilliant golden hue and generous texture. The nose reveals a rich and elegant aromatic palette, dominated by notes of honey, acacia blossom, and ripe white fruits. On the palate, the attack is broad and velvety, supported by impressive complexity. Flavors evolve toward hints of dried fruit, toasted bread, and pastry cream, balanced by a subtle freshness that tempers the wine’s opulence. The finish is long, smooth, and persistent, showcasing the noble character of its ageing in demi-muids. A gastronomic white wine — both powerful and harmonious.

Food pairings

This rich and structured white wine calls for refined, high-end cuisine. It will elevate dishes such as Bresse chicken with morel sauce, porcini risotto, or pan-seared scallops with lemon butter. It also pairs beautifully with truffle-based recipes, like scrambled eggs with truffle or aged truffled Brie. For cheese, opt for dry goat cheeses or soft washed-rind varieties. Served between 10 and 12°C, it reveals its full aromatic depth and complexity — ideal for special occasions and gourmet meals.
