Presentation
The Ludovic POUZOL range highlights the largest vineyard in the world, Le Pays d'Oc, located in the south of France. It features a wide variety of terroirs, from the sunny shores of the Mediterranean in the south, to the mountain foothills of the Cévennes in the north, and from the banks of the Rhône in the east to the foothills of the Pyrenees.
Terroir
This Malbec comes from several vineyards: in Hérault, on hot lands of rolled pebbles, which add depth and color, and in Aude, where it gains in freshness and finesse.
Winemaking
The grapes, harvested at perfect ripeness, are fully destemmed and then vinified in temperature-controlled concrete vats. The maceration, lasting 2 to 3 weeks with daily pump-overs, gently extracts the tannins. After fermentation, the juice is pressed using a pneumatic press and aged in oak barrels for 7 to 9 months.
