Presentation
Founded by William Trouillet and Caroline Trouillet Lebeau, this estate is located at the foot of the Roche de Solutré, on the slopes of the Mâconnais. The clay-rich soils allow Chardonnay to develop great aromatic complexity. Vinification is done with minimal intervention to preserve the identity of the terroirs. Aging on fine lees gives the wines a full texture and beautiful persistence. Our major asset: a pure and refined expression of Chardonnay, enhanced by meticulous work in the vineyard and cellar.
Location
Situated in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation in southern Burgundy, the vineyard benefits from prime hillside exposures and varied microclimates ideal for Chardonnay.
Terroir
Clay-limestone soils typical of the region, bringing both richness and mineral tension to the wine.
In the vineyard
Vineyard work is carried out with great care throughout the season: thoughtful soil management (light plowing, natural cover crops), canopy control, and sustainable treatments aimed at preserving the natural balance of the vine and the character of the fruit.
Harvest
Manual harvest ensures careful grape selection and optimal ripeness.
Winemaking
The grapes are gently pressed in whole bunches. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve purity and freshness. The wine is then aged on fine lees for several months to enhance texture and aromatic complexity.
Ageing
100% French oak barrels, of which 30% are new, used for ageing to bring depth and subtle structure.

Tasting
This Pouilly-Fuissé from Vignobles Trouillet Lebeau beautifully expresses the finesse and richness of Chardonnay grown in southern Burgundy. The wine shows a pale gold color with luminous highlights. The nose is elegant and delicate, offering notes of white fruits (pear, peach), citrus zest, white flowers, and a subtle hint of toast. On the palate, the attack is round and elegant, supported by lively freshness. The mouthfeel is broad yet balanced by fine mineral tension, leading to a long, refined finish. A harmonious wine that is both generous and precise.
Food pairings
A perfect match for grilled fish, shellfish, poultry in cream sauce, risottos, or soft cheeses such as Brie or Saint-Marcellin. Serve between 10 and 12°C to enjoy its freshness and complexity.
