Domaine Thibert Père et Fils

Located in Fuissé, at the foot of the rocks of Solutré and Vergisson, Domaine Thibert Père et Fils took its current form in 1967, when Andrée and René Thibert established their own estate. Later joined by Christophe and then Sandrine, they gradually expanded the property, which now spans nearly 30 hectares across the Mâconnais’ leading appellations, including Mâcon, Saint-Véran, Pouilly-Loché, Pouilly-Vinzelles and Pouilly-Fuissé.

One of the domaine’s most distinctive features lies in the depth of its roots: some parcels have been farmed by the family for eight generations. This rare continuity fosters an intimate understanding of the terroirs and lends the wines a remarkable sense of precision. More than a stylistic choice, the wines reflect a carefully built memory of place, shaped over time.

The wines stand out for their balance between breadth and clarity, combining generous texture with a refined sense of precision. Complete control, from vineyard to vinification, ensures a level of coherence and accuracy that is rare at this scale. The result is a range of whites that are deep, articulate and remarkably true to their origin, offering a particularly accomplished expression of the Mâconnais.
