Domaine Raphael Sallet
Located in Uchizy, in the northern Mâconnais, Domaine Raphaël Sallet is set within one of the most discreet and compelling landscapes of southern Burgundy. Founded in 1986 by Raphaël Sallet at a remarkably young age, the estate was built on a clear vision: to craft wines of precision and authenticity, firmly rooted in their origin. Joined by his wife Marylène, the domaine has preserved its deeply family-driven character while gradually establishing a distinctive and recognized identity.
Today, the estate spans nearly 30 hectares and offers a refined and coherent expression of the Mâconnais terroirs, notably through appellations such as Mâcon Uchizy, Mâcon Chardonnay and Viré-Clessé. This controlled diversity is one of the domaine’s key strengths, with wines that stand out for their clarity, balance and strong sense of place.
Both in the vineyard and the cellar, Raphaël Sallet follows a thoughtful and measured approach, guided by a commitment to authenticity and respect for natural balance. Supported by HVE level 3 certification, this philosophy results in wines that are accessible, precise and elegantly refined.
